Rachel Cosentino

Rachel Cosentino is our partner in the litigation team.

Rachel has a broad range of experience in civil litigation matters based in contract, negligence, trade practices and equity. She is also well recognised for her particular expertise in workplace relations law. She has appeared as both counsel and instructing solicitor in the Supreme Court of Western Australia, the Federal Court, Federal Magistrate's Court, District Court, Administrative Appeals Tribunal and State Administrative Tribunal as well as many other courts and tribunals.

Rachel assists clients with their broad range of workplace relations needs including advising on and drafting employment contracts and representing clients in unlawful termination and unfair dismissal claims. Her common sense and creative approach to resolution of disputes has enabled her to assist many clients in:

Rachel has been with Gibson & Gibson since 1998 and was made partner in 2005. She was admitted to practice in Western Australia in 1999 and to the High Court in 2000. She is a member of the Law Society, Women Lawyers Western Australia and has involvement in a number of not for profit community organisations.
