Jon Redman
Jon Redman was admitted to practice in Western Australia in 1979 having graduated from the Australian National University with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Economics degree.
Jon practices primarily in the area of Family Law and is an Accredited Family Law Specialist, however he also has experience in the areas of Criminal Law, Equal Opportunity Law and Administrative Law.
Jon was an inaugural founding member and committee member of the Sussex Street Community Legal Service and continues to participate in their Night Legal Service. He is also a consultant to the Welfare Rights and Advocacy Service, a prison visitor at Bandyup Women's Prison, Legal Aid Review Committee member and was inaugural winner of the Law Society of Western Australia Solicitor's Community Service Award.
Jon was an inaugural reserve member of the Child Care Service Board, a past member of the Council for Civil Liberties in Western Australia, a past member of the Welfare of Review Committee for the Department of Community Services, Law Society Courts Committee member, the Australian Labor Party Law Reform and a Civil Rights Policy Committee member and an United Nations Association of Western Australia Human Rights Sub-Committee.
He is married with four children.
